Director of Finance and Administration, Open Society Initiatives in Eastern Africa
Caroline Kariuki is the Director of Finance and Administration at Open Society Initiatives in Eastern Africa (OSIEA). Carole brings over 16 years of wide-ranging experience in finance and administration, grants management, financial systems review, information systems management, and emergency response systems. She has managed large and diverse teams having worked with a number of national and international nongovernmental organizations.
Among others, Kariuki has worked with Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies as a senior accountant; Help Age International as the regional finance and administration manager, and most recently Oxfam GB as finance manager in Kenya. Kariuki is a certified public accountant (CPA) Kenya and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the East and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI).
