Advocacy Adviser, Sightsavers
Edwinah Orowe is the Advocacy Adviser at Sightsavers Regional office for East and Southern Africa. Her role at Sightsavers involves supporting country teams to integrate advocacy in program development for sustainability, as well as link global policy processes into country-level advocacy. She also supports policy analysis within thematic areas of Sightsavers’ work with country teams and is engaged in proposal development for country projects.
Before joining Sightsavers, Edwinah worked in the areas of advocacy, partnership and influencing for close to 10 years having started in child and youth rights and grown into maternal health and sexual and reproductive health. She previously worked with Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung, Family health care and International Planned Parenthood Federation’s Africa Regional Office.
