Patrick Onyango Mangen
Country Director, TPO Uganda
Mr. Patrick Onyango Mangen, MSc. is a development practitioner with over 20 years of demonstrable experience working with communities and families affected by HIV and AIDS, conflict and poverty. Throughout his career, Patrick has been passionate about strengthening and promoting the role of both formal and informal community-based mechanisms so that they can identify, prevent and respond to protection risks and vulnerabilities that expose children, women and families in general to deprivation, exploitation and abuse.
Patrick is currently the Country Director of Transcultural Psychosocial (TOP) Uganda, a national NGO that has been earmarked for a transition award by USAID. In anticipation of this award, he has provided thought leadership and stewardship that has ensured TPO Uganda attains minimum requirements for the transition award. In the recent past, Patrick has been instrumental in profiling TPO Uganda as a key national actor in OVC (orphan and vulnerable children) care and protection programs.
