Chief of Party SOCY program, Catholic Relief Services
Sasha Angelevski is currently the Chief of Party for the Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth Program (SOCY) in Uganda. In his current role, Sasha oversees the program portfolio of close to $ 50 million USG PEPFAR funding, with sixteen local implementing partners. Before this Sasha, was the Country Manager for Catholic Relief Services CRS Ukraine where he served for close to two years providing oversight to programmatic activities in Ukraine, Russia and Belorussia. He was also a member of CRS Eurozone program senior leadership team, spearheading strategic thinking, efficient and effective operating approaches with sound organizational management.
Sasha has been with CRS for over 20 years; he joined CRS Macedonia in June 1999 as Program Officer during the Kosovo refugee crisis. In the period between 2001 and 2004, he was working on various emergency and development projects in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Lesotho. Prior to joining CRS Uganda, Sasha worked as Chief of Party of Nutrition Support project in Zimbabwe and large PEPFAR funded OVC program in Nigeria. He holds a BA in Social Studies, MA from St. Cyril and Methody University and an MBA from the European University. Sasha speaks Macedonian, English and Serbian.
